“Maybe a homeland could be a place to stretch myself, to grow.”
“This eloquent book can help us to reach out, open our hearts, and rediscover one another in a spirit of
mutual understanding.”—Hon. Valdas Adamkus, former president of Lithuania

Letters from Ellen Cassedy
Dear Laima,
I thought you would like to see that your school’s project, and a picture of a poster, are featured in an article I wrote for an online ‘zine called “Jewish Magazine.”

All the best,

Dear Laima,
This is to thank you so much for the opportunity to meet you, speak to your students, and visit your wonderful school. I enjoyed my visit so much and was very much impressed by all you are doing. The butterfly project moved me very much.
I was pleased to meet Rimantas Zyrgulis and teachers and students from Kedainiai at the multi-cultural center. This was a great pleasure. The exhibit on the second floor of the center was most impressive.
Laima, do you know of Ingrida Vilkiene at the Occupation Commission in Vilnius? She coordinates a network of Tolerance Centers in high schools. Maybe you would like to be in touch with her. Ingrida Vilkiene ([email protected])
All the best,
Ellen
