
The theme for the 2013 national/regional competition (the one that will be held at LCC International University in Klaipėda) was "A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand".
It was the 16th time that the English-Speaking Union in Lithuania announced the National Public Speaking Competition. For the 10th time this national competition was organized jointly by the English-Speaking Union (ESU) and LCC International University, the English speaking university in Klaipėda.
The National Public Speaking Competition was held on the 8th of March 2013, at LCC International University (Kretingos street 36, Klaipėda).

THE COMPETITION STRUCTURE
Speakers will be divided into three heats. Each heat will have a maximum of 15 speakers. There will be two speakers selected from every heat for the final competition.
Finalists should speak on the same topic and argument that they presented in the preliminary heats. For more information on the flow of the competition, for the delivery of the speech and judging criteria, see the ESU handbook which you can find atwww.lcc.lt/esu.
